Global Paws was established in 1989 and was born out of a client demand for a service that they trusted we would be passionate about.

Let me explain... my family own and run Snowpine Kennels which is widely regarded as one of the cleanest, safest pet loving kennels in Gauteng, drawing clients from all over the region. As you may be aware part of the relocation process involves kenneling and many, many clients having been so impressed with the passion and genuine love for pets that is shown at Snowpine Kennels began asking us if we could ship their pets to their respective destinations.

After exhaustive investigation Global Paws was born. The mantra that we started with still lives with us today and this is - "The most caring for the pet and the most professional for the client". This caring attitude runs into everything we do and we're very proud of the reputation this attitude has provided us with in the pet transportation industry.

Starting out as predominately dog, cat and bird transporters we have now grown our services to include horses, reptiles and most recently exotic animals.

All our staff are handpicked animal lovers and owners and all have been extensively trained to offer the very best personal and knowledgeable service. We have an emergency contact number where a staff member, not an electronic voice, will be able to assist with queries from the worried owners or agents in countries not asleep. We are proud to provide owners with a personal touch should it be needed in those desperate moments.

We were the first South African members of the prestigious organization IPATA (Independent Pet and Animal Transportation Association). This membership guarantees us access to the latest most up to date rules and regulations and immediate access to over 400 expert pets travel companies worldwide, all of whom can assist us to safely and efficiently arrange the transportation of pets to and from almost any destination in the world

We have our own branches in the 3 Major South African cities; Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban and each has a wealth of experience shipping pets to just about every conceivable destination worldwide.

Domestically all our pets are transported in spacious and reliable air conditioned vehicles to and from the respective airports where we are well known, trusted and liked.

Our offices can deal expertly with national and international transportations, import shipments and have extensive experience dealing with pets transiting through South Africa to other African and international destinations.
